mir würde es ja reichen, wenn man das nur über eine config Datei machen könnte, dann würden sich die meisten Newbies auch nicht drann wagen

Ich installier es mir eigentlich gar nicht, les aber immer das Changelog um zu wissen was AutoGK momentan so alles kann.

While M2 milestone is in progress (looks like it will take a little while to reach it) I've started wrapping up things for the next stable release (it should be expected before Christmas). Change log:
- added option to the installer to explicitely control bitrate spikes for better SAP support. This means for DivX - home theatre profile is used only when this option is activated (previously it was always on and therefore HDTV sources could not be encoded properly using two passes). For future versions of XviD this option will enable VBV support (same as DivX profile basically).
- AutoGK can work under user with limited privileges (but not installed)
- minor cleanup of the code and compile using new libraries |

As usual before a stable release I tend to change lots of small stuff.
Change log:
- removed high quality switch for lame mp3 encoding to get joint stereo output from BeSweet
- total duration of a job is displayed in the logs
- fixed minor GUI bugs in audio/subs selection
- autocrop.dll updated to version 1.2
- added additional parameters to control autocrop (see hidden_options.txt), so manual cropping can now be performed
- speed (fps) of comp test is displayed properly
- second audio/subs is now visible by default (no need to press CTRL-F10) |

About the survey that is going on at the moment: do not take it too serious. Its mostly hypothetical question (as almost all codecs are impossible to integrate into AutoGK anyway). And OS project h264 is something that I will look into at some point once it gets quite stable and MPEG4 AVC is supported by hardware. |
